Hi Mark,

When the library becomes stable, we will consider making it a shared
library.  We didn't want to create a dependency between the audio
application and the video application at this early stage.  If an end user
of the application wanted to use one version of the audio application but a
newer version of the video application, a shared library would make that
more difficult.
