Hi,
Shotwell is looking like a promising replacement for F-Spot on my
system. However, it doesn't yet have PicasaWeb export support, which I
use F-Spot for quite frequently. I realise it's probably a way down the
to-do list, but when you do get around to implementing it, may I suggest
you make use of libgdata[1]? It's a C library I maintain which allows
applications to interact with Google services, including PicasaWeb.
We've recently acquired Vala bindings, which live in Vala's repository.
At the moment, our PicasaWeb upload support is probably a little shaky,
since nothing uses it (as far as I'm aware), so it hasn't been tested
too much. However, if you were to use it, I would be able to work on any
problems or omissions which arose, and generally help you in getting
things working.
Regards,
Philip Withnall
