[Shotwell] unit testing

We are not using a test-driven design for Shotwell, nor do we have unit

At Yorba, we do have a few unit tests in the Fillmore/Lombard/Marina
projects if you are looking to see one approach with Vala.  I'm not thrilled
with our usage of that test framework, so I'd love to hear of other
approaches.  The main problem is setting up the fixtures for the test
cases.  There will certainly be more as time allows, and I do use
test-driven development when the task is appropriate.
