Picasaweb have a nice solution where you can drag and drop a thumbnail onto
a map. This is where Shotwell could be nicely integrated with Google Maps.
In my case I do a lot of mountain hiking and would use this facility to
record the position of features like caves. But I recognise this kind of
enhancement is far from trivial.
