In the current trunk build, the Open With External Editor command 
doesn't open your RAW editor.  To do that, you need to choose the Open 
With RAW Editor command in the Photos menu.

We haven't made a final decision about which menus will contain these 
commands in the 0.6 release, but perhaps we should consider adding Open 
With RAW Editor to the context menu for RAW photos.  Any other feedback 
is welcome!
