Thank you.
In my personal opinion the best option would be that the open with
external editor in the context menu
opens the file according with its extension, without adding too much
options in the context menu.
Then, from the Photos menu one can choose how to open the file.
Anyway thanks a lot,
now I have the perfect the perfect photo organizer for ubuntu!
