We didn't start off in Glade because the GUI was very simple
originally.  As it got more complicated, we saw the advantages of
using a program like Glade, but we just haven't gotten around to
moving everything over yet.  As you can see, we've recently started
the transition, but we've only moved individual elements as they're
modified.
