Hi, I've just downloaded and installed Shotwell 0.5 onto a clean install of
Windows 7 (Well, fairly clean, it was new on Friday)

When installing (to F:\Program Files (x86)\Shotwell) I get an error dialog
like this:

title: gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders.exe - System Error
content: The program can't start because libjpeg-7.dll is missing from your
computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
buttons: [ OK ]

and when I OK that:

title: gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders.exe - System Error
content: The program can't start because libfontconfig-1.dll is missing from
your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
buttons: [ OK ]

This leaves Shotwell installed, but if I run it I get an almost identical
error:

title: shotwell.exe - System Error
content: The program can't start because libfontconfig-1.dll is missing from
your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
buttons: [ OK ]

A bit of googling told me that those libraries were part of the GTK+
runtime, which recently removed some libraries from the default install,
including libjpeg-7.dll, so I installed the GTK+ runtime manually from
http://gtk-win.sourceforge.net/home/index.php/en/Home

This appears to fix the initial problem, but now I get this dialog instead:

title: Error
content: ** ERROR **: Resources.vala:314: Couldn't recognise the image file
format for file "F:\Program
Files(x86)\Shotwell\share\shotwell\icons\object-rotate-right.svg"
aborting...
buttons: [ OK ]

Any idea what I can do to get this up and running?
