[Shotwell] Glade or handcraft?

Hi

Perhaps this is not an issue, but in a previous project the Glade file
caused a lot of grief when it came to check patches.

Mainly that the diff between two versions of Glade files usually showed a
couple of 100-1000 rows different, even if there only in reality was 10-30
lines different.

Due to this, this project decided to start to handcraft the GUI from each
source file instead. To enable patch review to be much easier.

Is this something Shotwell should consider?
