[Shotwell] Glade or handcraft?

In this case I think that the glade file was at a couple of thousand
lines, and a patch was submitted that included GUI fixes.

The patch was reviewed 3-6 months further down the track, and at that time
the  glade file had been modified (minor and major changes) many times....

Was very difficult or more or less impossible to patch the glade file.
