[Shotwell] Panasonic Lumix G2 : Images on camera get not deleted, although they should get

Is that because Lumix uses the PTP protocol rather than presents
itself as a USB mass storage device? i.e. would the workaround be
simply detecting the PTP protocol or would the camera models have to
be hard-coded?
